Knocked out?

I was having lunch with my ex camp mate and he really knocked my mind. It is quite depressing or sad to hear things that is quite hurtful. I guessed it really depend on how each and everyone phrase it.

Lots of people out there wanted to job hop, but to their familiar line or what? It is surely difficult if someone wanted to change the line which is totally irrelevant of what you are doing currently. Facing of stress and coping of works as to ensure the superior will not kick your butt always. It depend on whether if you want to face pay drop. When you have commitment, it is hard to have this choice.

I always tell myself this, few people who aren't married and neither have kids, will never understand the heavy commitment I'm facing. (I am glad that there are mature thinking people who understand fully, especially from family members.) There's no time to self pity or grumble, but to earn extra money. That is where free-lancing come into picture.

Was there any regret? No.

There's no need to feel regret at all because you are already in, unless you are still dreaming away.

When you been slapped by sentences:"What can you do? You know nuts about that, how can I bring you in? Basically, it is zero for you."
Be prepared to feel disappointed or reflect. The sentences are rather strong and it is time to re-think. Do your best on what you can, or prepare pay drop if you want to switch lines. Contradictory, huh?

What is the thing we all want?
Comfort life for the family.

I can't help by saying that in this line, it is either you are a high flyer or just a person who earn relatively low. The only way; hence freelancing is the answer.

One side is always greener than the other. You work too hard, are you that bad now?
It's not about bad if you think about it. It's about scarification for family.
For the sake of family, we just have to work extra hard than others.

It is quite sickening to hear from your friend stating that he earned the lowest among his friends, where you, earning much lower. Seriously, I cannot blame him for his incongruous behavior, because he is not in the same situation as I do.

Just ranting about it.

Park your damn car properly next time

C'mom. If you are waiting for the slot at the washing bay in MSCP, please kindly park your car properly next time.

This message to a female driver driving Toyota Vios at Blk 154A. I have no against any female drivers, only ku-ku type. Be it male or female.

It was Saturday noon when I returned home with my wifey and Cait. As I drove up to level 1B, there's this Toyota Vios, storm grey in color, parking almost in the middle of the lane. Yes, I may have the confident to squeeze it over but chances of kissing your car is high enough!

If you want to wait at the washing bay, why don't you kindly park more to the left side instead? So that other cars can move and head up? Furthermore, your car is parking SO front that no car is able to pass you and turn right up to level 2A. Even the kuku driver dare to pass you, by turning right up, the driver will face more problem.

Instead, why don't you just go down to level 1 and come back to the same spot again? What's the bloody deal for you to move your car when your job is to turn the steering wheel and step on the accelerator?

You, however, move in front and block the whole bloody slope up to level 2A when you thought I wanted to move down? C'mom, please check properly next time la.

Next, you wind down your window showing some stupid hand gesture as if I am in wrong? I could have head up to tell her properly but I chose not to when she started her silly movement. Until she is really unhappy after I pressed the horn lightly at her, then she move her car down and come back the same spot.

This can be done within just 5min but you stay there throughout. Why waste everyone time? You try this in public carpark and see what you get in return? I am kind enough to wait for you patiently to move it..!

The most irritating part is when the woman is heading down slop while I heading up. she stop her car, move her body to the passenger seat and pointing me and saying things that I cannot hear as my window is wind up. I stop my car, roll back by few inch and look at her but she moved off?! Loser!!!

I walk down with my stroller using the slope instead of stairs, going to the washing bay and look at this kuku driver. But she didn't dare to confront me when I passed by there. She just talking to other people saying that there's one car parking illegally at the washing bay.

Please lah... if there's no space, come back later la! What's the whole stupid deal with you leh! I do not even want to start shouting at the woman in front of my daughter at all.

Please kindly reflect yourself before you show your stupid hand gesture at others!

Oh... what a good service.... *ya.. right...*

Here, this is what we faced when booking for a tour to Genting during May period.

Almost the whole family is going up to have fun but with such so-called-good-service from the big company of W*S, I think they need to reflect their sale service.

This is a beautiful FEEDBACK to them on their Facebook, which, there is no reply at all.

It seem quite impossible to reach any feedback channel/management department from your website, branches or through the phone and from the last posting date of 1st March, I really wonder if your company is as sincere in receiving customers' genuine feedback as promised?

I experienced atrocious service at the Lot 1 branch of WTS over a seemingly simple and small issue. I have previously booked and paid for a family getaway to Genting for 14pax. I wanted to add 4 more coach tickets and all other travel details were identical. We will all board the coach at the same pickup point and at the same time.

Such a simple request had me making multiple trips to your branch. I called and stated my intent to add 4 more coach tickets and your staff said it was fine, just have to go and make payment. I went that evening and that staff was away so another staff informed it was likely we will not be on the same coach. It was a family trip and we had 18pax who each paid $20 extra to be on the platinum coach, so it irked me to hear that no reassurance was made for the family to be on the same coach.

Upon advise from that staff, he said to cancel my previous 14pax booking if i insist the 18 pax be together, and edit the previous invoice to 18pax. He had only offered that suggestion after 20min of discussion, with other staff standing around watching us talk and no one offer any help/solution. After agreeing to amend the previous invoice to 18pax, he said he is unable to do it as I will have to find the first staff who served me, because he needed to login with his personal password to your company system and he was away, so I had to go back another day!

I did go back the next day and the staff had just stepped out for lunch and I was told to wait 40min! Another point for WTS to consider their customer service standards, there were 2 more staff in the shop but no one was willing to serve? That was my whole lunch break gone to waste. When I feedback to Agnes (who is supposedly the in-charge) of the unhappiness in poor service standards, she contributed further to the distress I faced. Upon asking for a higher management at the HQ whom I can speak to, she did not offer assistance and I pointed that what if I had listen to their horrible advise and cancelled the 14 pax and could not secure the trip and she said there's nothing they can so since I was the one who booked on 2 separate occasions. We are adding more people and your company is charging us $115 per pax just for coach alone and I could not believe the words coming out of her mouth. When I asked about cancellation policy she said I can go ahead, just forfeit the money and after that she walked off when other staff were back from their meal break.

Next, the original staff who served me came back from lunch and he did apologise for the inconveniences I faced and told me it was not advisable to cancel my previous order and add a new 18pax as once he cancelled, other agents may grab from the system. He said just needed to issue a new invoice with the 4 additional pax and make a cross reference in the remarks that we REQUEST to be on the same coach.

Thanks to Henry who made the stressful situation better and offering to personally note the coach seating arrangement and told me to call him the day before departure to make sure our whole family can be on the same coach.

Such a simple matter could have me visit the shop 4 times and it still leaves a bitter after taste.

If your company is as committed to improving your services and making it a good travel experience for your customers, I'll suggest you start by improving on your customer service in order not to encounter a bad experience from the start. I do hope to hear from you on your company's take on this matter and that you will not set up facebook group for feedback yet hide/sweep matter under the carpet.

The BIS issue

BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) had been cranking up from ST recently. Since 4 days ago, quite a number of users are facing the same fate as I do.

3G with BIS just simply do not connect at all. When one of the forum poster told me to use 2G instead, I am skeptical towards it, but I am wrong! Because it works like charm! But, excuse me, ST... Why is your 3G BIS sucks big time till using 2G is almost perfect for most user these few days?

I am convinced that it is not the Bold 2 9700 Blackberry is causing the issue, but the telco of the nice RED square. They should really look into this issue as quite a number of user had called in to raise this problem.

So, last night I called the Singtel helpdesk for help, the CSO understand what is going on and quickly refer me to Blackberry technician support. I can understand where he is coming from when he thought I am using 3G network only. I am on 3G & 2G network all the while.

I explained to him that, even on 3G & 2G network, the BIS still cannot get it connect at all. He also explained to me about the coverage of 3G... Oh dear... our lovely Singapore 3G is really that lousy till not all area are covered with it?

Let's not talk about that since I am not guru in this. Hence, I asked him this question which he is speechless about it.

"Are you going to tell me that Bukit Batok, Jurong East, Toh Guan and Choa Chu Kang do not have 3G coverage? Kidding me, is it? I am under the open sky and yet I still cannot get my BIS connected tho... You know my meaning?"

"Hold on" as he said.

Coming back and tell me... "there might be issue with your 3G SIM card. I suggest you to change it"

"Am I suppose to pay or what?"

"Ok, I will waive off the SIM card cost for you"

After that conversation, I quickly went to West Mall Hello shop and get it exchange. Within min, the SIM card is activated.

3G with BB logo works fine tho it is a little cranky at the start. Set my BB to sleep mode and awake when the alarm rang. At the same time, all messages come in at one go. I was, of course happy with it for a while.... BIS start to fail again!

Switched to 2G, it works... back to 3G & 2G, it failed... Kinda irritating right?

I was about to call ST during noon time when I saw the 3G with Logo had been there for 2hrs at least... I can BBM! I did a check on the service status under manage connections and it is connected.

(Just when I am about to finish this blogging... the 3G with BB logo disappear again....)

Insane transferring!

I wanted to get my Line of Credit from HSBC annual fee waive off, but I never know how stupid it can be after holding on the phone for 15min!

I called up to HSBC Credit Card department initially, and apparently the CSO told me to redial and get to another department. I asked if he could just transfer me, and he said he cannot. Stupid reason I ever heard.

I follow the instruction and redial to get into another department. End up, the same CSO picked up! OMG! Is that so stupid?! I gave my NRIC and he asked me hold on, and then transferred me to another lady. Excuse me, Mr CSO of whoever, you do not need to TALK SO LOUD! I AM NOT DEAF!

When the lady picked up the phone, for whatever sake! I just cannot hear what the hell are you talking about! I just yah yah yah after the verification stage. Hang on awhile, then telling me she got to transfer me out again to another department. What promotion if I want to get if I....I just cannot hear your talking!!! It freaking seem like I am having long distance call! She always react 2sec later!

2min gone, another guy picked up and yes! A finally LOCAL guy talking to me! But... the way you talk, please do not speak so close to the mic! I can't hear due to you mumbling! I assured that I cannot hear properly, and not because of your English! Is HSBC really having such a lousy operating center? Even the music is cutting on and off!

No thanks, I do not need the luaggage worth of $150 if I were to pay $60 of the annual fee. I rather get it wavie.

I am so tired!

I do not think that I can blog so much today, but all I can say that I am god damn way too tired! The client for the commercial project (for editing) insisted to do it today and I have no choice but to return to work at 9am! Of course, I thought I might end the work by 1130am but it wasn't. We finished everything with almost 95% of re recording it by 2pm. I do not wish to come back to work on Monday whereby it is public holiday! Spare me that, please.

I was stunned when I thought why the office was not lock and there's aircon on! When I went in, I saw that my manager already reached! So surprise to see her so early and according to my wife, who came along to accompanied me, had some chit chat with my manager at pantry, agreed that the client is not easy to handle. And she also want to finish up her work asap, so that she can go out shopping. Well, by 2pm plus, she was still in office. Wondering what time she off work then. The whole BTH was so quiet, looking at the whole compound, bet 1% of the people were in the building.

After that, we went to Chinatown to develop some prints for my aunt, who kinda asking where is her son wedding photos! Had no choice, we lived so far thus I have problem passing to her, but never did I knew that I got to help to prints. What can I say?

Since it was raining heavily at the area after I sent in the photos for developing, both of us wanted to have lunch at market. Initially, I wanted Smith St market, but my wife who is way so confuse thought that Hong Lim market is actually the usual place we went for our lunch! In fact, it is at Smith street and because we walked past Hong Lim market once, she thought that 'Smith st' is there. She had her crayfish horfun while I had sugarcane drink only because I had no appetite. Wanted the chicken rice at Smith St and end up my wife also told me that she wanted to have duck rice too (after she eaten).

She made me so confused. Asked her why she ordered medium, and claimed that I can share too. If I have my own food, why not just get small? I think my wife is confusing herself even more when she can asked me why I park the car at Hong Lim and not Smith St?! (in earlier entry of this blog, rem the prints?)

I really wanted to bang my head against the wall. I decided not to eat anyway. Fed up. But glad that I had lunch + dinner (luner)  at home! Bought some food from mixed vegetable  and cooked rice at home. Wonderful.

I went to scout for places at the same time and to be frank, I was so tired while driving to my client house as I need to give him the prints. I thought I can get the DVD from William after that, but when he got back to me as he went out for lunch, I am already at my house buying food. He wanted to cycle to my area and pass it to me but I rejected because I had been sleeping since after my dinner. I can finally rest 50% and get ready for more tiring weeks ahead. Too many weekend burn after I checked out the photoshoot date done by K. Happy that everything is on the move on. Bet by the day we finished everything, I really wanted to have a drink with K for all the hard work. No alcohol related tho.

Thanks to my client, helping me to earn so much time off now.

Tomorrow, there's baby shower at cousin house and since I need to fetch my mom, wife and me decided to head up as well.

And on Monday, family dim sum gathering. So happy to have everyone together! Gotta take more photos then.

I need Duragloss product to clean my car and collinite for waxing. A total of $150 damage, should I? When I can get my 1TB hdd, it getting out of space!

I end up typing so long. Time to dive on bed again, can't endure the sleepy eyes anymore!

My comments on good n bad...

Something that I really like about this product. Making use of the dock to transfer files from office to home. But sad to say that it work for SATA I/II only but for mine is IDE. I just realised recently that I had an extra HDD in my dry cabinet which I put in there since the day I changed my computer.

I am planning to get 1TB hard disk for my media storage since it is getting low in capacity! Therefore, my current 500gb which is stored for media will be use for my photo storage. Meaning to say, one of the hard disk that is not in use can be converted as external drive for me to do some transferring. Of course, if it is a 320gb hdd, I can put it in Popcorn Hour for my movie/ drama session.

Now, I got so many to watch! Thanks for my coll who introduce me. Shows like, The Unit, Heroes, Knight Rider, Reaper, Chuck and My Name is Earl. I got a lot of movies too which is in 720p. Look great on my TV for sure. Now, gotta plan for my 1TB fetish n PCH!

Luckily I did some checking with my wife on my Citi$. To my surprise, I got 3780 citi$! That allow me to redeem for $50 Jack's Place and Isetan voucher! Kudos to my points! That show, having points is great! I only use 1 card to collect as many points as possible which allow to me play with it. I shall use my Daily$ on my Everydaycard soon, since the recent bill hit up to $200. thanks to the bloody 21%!


Talking about that. Please prostrate to some stupid rules set by LTA for giving way to the bus. Why? King of the road or what? Fine for $130 just because they cannot turn out? Usually when there's another bus coming, eventually they still be able to head out. Any problem with that? Or they are so tight up that they need some fine? My god, this is outrageous for implementing this rule on road.

This is the first time I drove on SLE and the jam was so bad from the BKE linking to SLE till Mandai exit. I got stuck for 15min and of course, I am the 2nd to reach in office. Phew. But then again, I was so foolish to stick to 2nd lane when I heard the traffic news to avoid 1st and 2nd. End up, the 1st lane is smoother after I turn into 2nd. Stupid me.

After exiting to AMK and was at filter lane, I did really something wrong as I dashed out immediately despite the van is getting close to me in about 30m, I reckon. Of course, I got stared but really apologise for such stupid mistake I made.

Felt that this is the seaon of ending relationship. Weird tho. I had no comments. And yes, I decided to cut down on food intake tho I mentioned umpteen times. Thanks to John Teoh gave me this site 2-3 years ago which is still in my bookmark.

I started to eat lesser and do some simple workout. I will be doing constantly for my health and of course, own good. Weekly swimming, 2-3 days jogging on treadmill and simple dumbell training with stretching exercise. Luckily my wife had the pilate mat whereby I can use it for my crunches. Often I made the floor oily and sweat too. LOL. After my training is getting good, I will head up to pheonix road to run up the hill, as that's what William told me to do some training there. I must be determine! Finger cross. Hoping to have some nice cutting on body which I do not need to have beautiful muscle after all.

Ultimately lazy

Been a long time since I shot for an event, which is my wifey's school annual concert. Happy that everything goes well till the end despite there's some disagreement.

Hard work been paid off and now everyone can rest and relax. Of course, supposed to have a gig but due to unforeseen circumstances, there's no update from the organiser. And since I had given the job to William, I shall honored my words which he will be the main photographer at time. After a short crash course during their rehearsal, the night shoot depend on him.

Since this is his first event shoot, I hope to see something good from him, especially the edited version.

Additionally, he kinda drool over L Lense and 5D. Good luck, pal. Ditch your 5D man. Now you understand the lovely high ISO and beautifully output as comparing to your 40D. Maybe considering of 5D MKII will be better. A pity that I do not have enough to upgrade, if not I will be happy to sell him mine camera.

I also sent my client's photos for printing and due to event time restriction, I cannot go and collect it though they finish developing. And by right, I wanted to get it today, but thanks to the lovely client coming to do the recording which I guess that it will drag the timing. *sigh*

Anyway, after the entire event, everyone went for splendid supper at Jumbo Seafood, Riverwalk.


Great supper at Jumo, Riverwalk. I cannot imagine that I am back to old work place for Jumbo Seafood eating session. Splendid meals and I hate to say that we really had a lot.

Food that they ordered was 10 course meal worth $388 and sorry that there's only 1 dish shown. Why? Guess that I do not have time to shoot the next few dishes.

The lazy Sunday made us felt so tired almost the whole day. Could be it due to the sun or the tiring Saturday? I really wonder why. I just do not feel like moving or doing anything despite wanted to polish the car.

Well, at least I finished the photo editing. I should have watch my The Unit Season 3 instead. And also, due to some disc error, I had been burning my games and wasted almost 4 of it! OMG. Due to the lazy Sunday feeling, I can even fallen asleep while while trying to play Guitar Hero : Areosmith. LOL

Oh, I finished half of my noval already! I am so happy that I going to finish it real soon! Ok, I admitted that I read during my wife sch concert. There's no place I can sit and I do not want to sit and relax watching the show while William is working. Well, I do hide beside him while reading my novel. The great music suit my reading feel. Marvellous.

On the separate issue, I really hope my neighbour can just shut the fucking dog up! I had no problem with you or your dog but please! You as an owner, shut your fucking dog up! Having it to bark at 11pm really pisses me off! If you going to let the dog bark like as if nothing is wrong, I will call the police for disturbing the neighbour hood! You are indeed a sure loser as an owner!

What a day

Early morning having breakfast with my wife at her workplace, and I felt like having roti prata but it was closed. So I head for bao and yam cake instead. While enjoying my food, suddenly one police landrover was driving so slow and my wife asked me if it is here to summon. I said no because it is not usual for landrover to summon tho. But I was wrong.

Since morning, I kept thinking that as warden to come to this area so early, who will it be. And my question had been answered.

Parked at the far end, my car was the first to get the wonderful letter or receipt. Everyone stood up and the kopitiam uncle shouted that police come for summon! Well, when everyone was about to move to their car, the landrover finished their rounding and prepare to head off. I do not think they will strike off the car owner who get back. Somemore, before seeing the landrover, I saw a policeman buying food in front of me. What a day. Thanks! I bet due to economic down, polices are now on the ball rounding for summon tho. Beware and you had been warned. How I wish they just horn to inform us.

I shall not park there anymore and head for breakfast, I will rather buy and go back to office and eat!

Talking about office. Got back in office, stupid iTunes and quicktime gave me so much problem as I been restarting my comp for over 4 times! End up, the error occur with help is total useless. Next time if you had some error and tell you to uninstall quicktim and reinstall that, do not follow. It's bull shit. Just simply uninstall quicktime and itunes once and for all. Reinstall and you get back smoothly. Fancy me following non stop!

Anyway, the installation guide is shitty but I still love iTunes. Why? Use that to key in the CD library! Simple. Slot in the cd, tally the title and artistes, copy everything back to CD library and job is done. Do not need to type what it shown. Work smart not hard. The only shitty is the server of ours. I tried to save things to server, but it kept hanging on me. WTH, WTF and WTS. Well, I just save as to local drive and overwrite to server instead. Better and easier then having my computer hang like no other ppl business.

You are just one big freaking loser

While on my way back to home along PIE entering BKE up slope bend, and my car is on the 1st lane. On my left is a bus which require more power to push it and I noticed that there's no car in front it hence I decided to signal left, trying to go into 2nd lane. I also noticed that there's fast moving SUV Porsche, tailgating me until the end of the bend. I did not slow down at all hence I had already rev my engine to move faster despite whether this mofo is behind me or not.

Fancy me turn on my left signal, this mofo was way too close to me and also try to go into 2nd lane. For that, I hold back and carry on rev my engine until the end of the slope. Noticing the mofo speed up and turn his head towards me as if I am in wrong!

Now my angry part.

Hey hello! You freaking know how to drive? Do you need to tailgate someone, turn towards my direction and stare at me as if I am in wrong. You are fucking speeding and excuse me, you are fucking driving a porsche while mine is just a Nissan 4AT! Do you have any freaking idea what the hell you are doing? Fancy you cut lane from 2nd to 1st, then back to 2nd after overtaking the cars. Why? Are you trying to do some stunt? Sorry, I will not feel sorry for anything that happen to you because of your driving skill! I do not need to curse because I believe in Karma! You brainless mofo should be off the road!

Beware and the fine

Beware if you want to enter the Video department room! Ok, it is loud as if we are entering the cinema area in office, which the room is pretty near to Audio Department. I admit that it is loud and at times, I got a fright too! But without those sound, all what we can just be hearing is nice and irritating ring tone or loud typing keyboard sounding. I also cannot stand my keyboard sound too. No against, but the office is just that QUIET! Only when there's rubbish talking, then the department will be alive. If not everyone will just dive in their own cubicle.


And yes, I gotten my first fine parking yesterday! Both my wife and me went to Yew Tee for a swim because we need to force ourselve! Healthy and good for baby too. We drag our feet there and parked the car. I was thinking not to put any coupon as my wife saw not a lot place it. Oh well, I decided to place 2 x purple coupon (1hr).

We went to the pool side and found that there are so many peoples. I got no great body so I am abit shy. LOL (After watching Kungfu Panda, who cares it anyway) The deep pool itself only have the middle 2 lane free for others to swim. Whilst, the left and right, were occupied by the kids for swimming lesson. Hence, we went to Spa pool to relax first before we approach to the wave pool for short leisure swim. As my goggle clip, which is to connect left and right lense attach together, were broken, I cannot approach to deep pool to swim despite there are lesser people.

At least I did swim 1.5 lap in together at the wave pool. The 2 laps of swim at the wave pool is about 1 full length of deep pool. And after relaxing at the corner of the small waterfall which is just 0.5m, separated the wave pool from the higher height of baby pool, we went to shower and buy lottery ticket before we went back to the car. It's about 10.20am when we left the pool. Judging from the ticket summon time, I am just 1-2min late! Thanks to the guy who is in front of me checking his 6 pieces of TOTO tickets if there's any winning chance.

End up, $2 per entry for adult, plus $6 of fine, we spent $10 for a swim. We shall go to CDANS next Saturday, and see how much it will cost in the end. Plus, there's no time limit swimming there, just the carpark fee and my wife got to pay $2 as she is not a member of SAFRA.

Activated yesterday. Met all the buddies in camp and thought that I can sign and go off around 3.20pm! Both Soo Kok and me waited for my dear pal, Dickson, for over 45min! He forgotten to inform me his change of phone number thus, I cannot contact him for mobilisation which I thought I can give him a lift before I went to Soo Kok house at Jurong West! Too bad. Because of that, I decided not to join Dickson, Joseph and Jackson (since he is driving as well) for tea session at Bukit Timah. I rather go home after sending Soo Kok. I do not want to wait until we finish the tea session, and I still got to go to Jurong West because my wife is waiting for me at home.

Weekend

I cannot seem to find the all format video that can playback to my LCD TV. Perhaps, I gotta look into 2 devices? 1 that can play almost all, whilst another just Real Media. I seen the Western Digital Media HD playback, and it is awesome. Selling at the price of $199 which does not include the HDD, which I can have a choice of adding different capacity! That means, I can jolly well buy a 1TB for my PC and take out the old HDD to put into the WD Media HD playback.


This is the cool media player which is damn awesome, having the HDMI rocks. It does read .mkv which what Blu Ray had been ripped out. The screen will be awesome.

I went to Memory World and found out that they do not hold this product, but another brand call DVico, which adding on to the HDD will cost me up to $400. Sigh. Luckily one of the shop that my wife and me found another shop (recommended by one of the sales guy whom I knew at lvl 1 when I purchased my Wii there), and they were nice enough to call up the distributor for prices and if it does read RM. Well, I do read up the forum and the answer = no. I snooked the sales guy tho, because I did not read it properly because of the word Wester Digital, whereby I thought the guy bought this and allow him to play RM too. LOL. Anyway, got to wait for the sales guy to get back to me for the nice price that they can offer me.

After going Sim Lim Square, we went to Funan IT Mall and saw that there's Sudoku Challenge! Hence I took a few photos from 6th floor as I went to Challenger to look for such device. (Ok, they sell but out of stock for the WD media player)

Have you seen nice Malay Wedding before? I bet you does, but westernise? No, this is my first time and it happen at my area, just right opposite my block! They even spread from next block to mine as space limitation is the cause.


Took this photo last night when I just parked my car. Very nice Malay wedding layout.


Again, I took in the morning since it is clearer. I assume the long table is where the food will be place at. Because the actual venue is just next blk and since place is the main concern, they extend to my blk void deck.


Have you seen such a grand Malay Wedding before? In fact, this is my first time tho. More of like the usual Chinese who like to hold the lunch or dinner at hotel.

The whole decoration is very nice!


A close look at the current area and right ahead where the tentage is located, that's where the newly wed will be there after they enter the area. It took them 2 days to set everything up, big one.

I had no idea if this couple is very fashionable or, maybe marry to Caucasian? Because it is not common to see such a Malay Wedding Decoration after all. I shall wait and see the couple first. :)

God damn it. My LG dvd burner seem to RIP! My computer just will not detect my external drive! Not when I want to burn my stuff and thought that it might be Dual Layer disc causing the problem, I slot in normal 4.7GB DVD into it, and Imgburn, Nero7 just do not bloody read the drive! Look like my Media Player got to hold back already and buy a new burner! Now, External or Internal? I saw one slim LG burner, which look damn nice! Yummy tho! LOL

I am hoping to get the rmvb device whereby I can hook up to my LCD TV. Apparently, it accept all kind of video format so I can finally watch BR format on my TV! It is great since the resolution is extremely big! (it totally stretch to my 24" LCD and I cannot make it smaller to watch it)

Feeling good!

Initially I had no idea what am I suppose to blog until it just flash my mind of what I want to say.

Yes, I finished the photos editing and I be scanning through from first photo to the end, which to ensure all photos were properly edited. Only that, I can send the DVD to my client for developing. I should not tell my client in future that I be doing developing. With few experience, I dare to say my charges will go up . For now, I am waiting for answer from another client which had not tell me if it's a go or not. On the other hand, Jackson's friend will be calling me for quotation. Hoping to grab the deal even tho it is tough job.

Lawrence will be borrowing the camera from me tomorrow, so he got no choice but to head down to my workplace.




Sometime it is not good to know too much but I bet that this person deserve nothing but my middle finger!

Roadwork cause the jam.JPG

The highlighted road that I traveled almost everyday took me just 3 min from Dairy Farm to CCK. But on Wednesday, it took me 45min to get there!

This is because there's construction going on there, thus I guessed the filter lane had been closed for fixing the lamp post. The reason I knew is because when I drove past that area, the road sign was on the grass and it seem like there's bad accident not long ago.

When I was getting so near to that filter lane, the crane just left! At least let me see what happen actually. Anyway, the next morning when I drove past the area again, I can see that the grass had been dug before as if they just fix the new lamp post.

Do not curse at ERP!!! And lovely U-crown

You are warned not to curse in front of ERP! When my wife asked if cash card had enough money in it, I replied that we had a lot! We were beside Central heading towards Bugis area yesterday and stopped in front of the traffic light. I do not intend to cross the amber light so I stop slowly. Just when I said about the MF of ERP and the moment I hit my gas and move forward, BEEP sound was heard! I'm like WTF? Do not tell me that ERP just started few seconds before the traffic turn green? Am I so good luck or what? To think I am the first car! WTH! If I am able to cross that, I need not to pay another ERP before Sim Lim Square! What a money rolling day!

Both my wife looked at each other earlier on like an idiot. Can't believe it. Anyway, I tried to search of DVI to VGA cable but unable to find it despite people told me to go to UF shop. Look like I get it import to Singapore from HK better. But not now.

We went to Plaza Singapura and park somewhere not going into ERP again. We walked down since the parking is per entry. I'm having some backache problem suddenly, which it may be due to some wrong sleeping posture.

I wanted to try the Osim U-crown but end up, my wife bought it. I tried and the massage is really very good! The music and everything is so pleasing and comfy. Luckily there's upapa behind me, thus I can have 2 massage at the same time. Terrific. My parents, wife and me can use this to ease our headache (often got it). Cost is $268.

I even went to try upilot again. All I can say that it is good to have but not now. I got it massage my most painful and aching part. Feeling so great today. Despite the guy kept introducing the products to us, he is kind enough that he never try to push too hard. Thanks, Mr Kenny from Osim at Plaza Singapura.

The neck massage. It is not as good on the U-pilot massage chair but that's enough as hair massage should not be too tough.

I guess the air meant by air intake where it will inflate the airbag for massaging. Instead of listening the music from speaker, you can have the earphone plug in it for more in-depth relaxation.

I decided to keep my Wii, thanks to Wilson that told me about Gecko OS and as yesterday, I wanted to try installing the stuff and found out that I need to have certain game to hack it. Despite having all the crack information and files, I need the game as well. I decided to head to shop at Woodland Point and get it done for a peace of mind. Do not intend to hack my own. Tiring tho. Damn it, now that I realise having compatible adapter for JPN console, the screen will flicker. Only original from Nintendo will not, and maybe I shall wait for next month or so to get the adapater. The flicker on the screen is quite bad thus it irritate my eyes alot. But, what am I going to do for the old compatible adapter?

Wilson made me temptation on Guitar Heroes. The non original will cost $55 for a guitar and of course the game is backup copies. Having the original one, will cost about $200+ and there's currently 2 Guitar Heroes now, but will be launching the World Tour Guitar Heroes. Quite a number of songs tho. *wink wink*

Bad day indeed

I had having tummyache whenever I am driving, and that happen twice today alone! Sucky feeling.

As I mentioned on my blog earlier regarding the DVI cable from the mac, today I simply want to give up. I went to challenger and looking for DVI to VGA cable but sad to say, none at all. Nice salesman approached me but sorry man, your working attitude is quite bad although you tried hard to get my doubts clear up. I thanks for helping me to answer if this cable is workable or not, but the bad part of you is, uncertain and tried to explain whatever which is already mentioned on the box. That's not the way, if you are unsure of this products, approach to your senior or other departments for help. I saw you walking up and down, thinking who to approach made me feel so sad for you. Maybe it is your first day or still very new, but try not to stumble too much. The most famous quote from salesman:"I'm sorry that I may not understand if this work for you, but I can help to find out your answer, hang on"

End of the day, he asked me to go Sim Lim to find the cable.

I do not want to have this connection. Macbook mini DVI - DVI adapter connected to DVI - DVI cable, then connected to DVI - VGA adapater to TV. I rather have DVI to VGA cable straight ahead. As this is told by the salesman on phone when I called if I can get it change.

Apparently I bought such cable at South Asia and I was so god damn happy when my wife told me if the DVI cable male had less 4 pins? Yah, sad to say it does have! I went back to shop and hope to find such cable with less 4 more male pins in it. And nope, the salesman cannot find for me. Again, the guy is quite uncertain tho. But still fairly ok. This made me think that customer service is very important especially understanding of products.

End up, I exchanged to cheap HDMI cable which I can connect my Starhub HD setup box to LCD TV. I just tried my luck by calling up the Mac shop again if I can get the VGA adapter instead.

HDMI cable do not work on my HD set up box at all! I called my ex camp mate, who sold me this TV; he told me mine is not full HD of 1080i as it is just 720. The answer is to drop the resolution on my set up box. Having no idea how, I called and waited for the CSO to pick it up and I gave up. Instead, I phoned Mac shop.

I am so disappointed after the whole conversation. I had no much of displease against China people, but after explaining so much, the girl kept talking back to me in Mandarin. What if I am not Chinese? I know she cannot handle this situation as she pushed to her boss.

The boss kept asking WHO told me that if I can get the stuff change. Obviously I said no, and I told the boss that your staff did not said the name out. Yes, even if you can get the person out, what's next? Reprimand him or what? I am so disappointed on your attitude when you trying to put some air through the phone as if you are some sort of Sgt or officer talking to me and wanted me to feel scare, so that I can just put down the phone. STOP bloody telling me you are in charge as I already KNOW!

Obviously I told you that I did not tear the top cover and everything is still intact except been crumpled. Why can't you just give a nice solution by telling me to bring the package down to the shop and show you? I mentioned through the phone that I know this is YOUR coy policy and understand stand, but because your staff told me there's such cable and I simply can't find it. He mentioned he can TRY to look into it if I really want to get it change. Because of him been courtesy enough, I tried to find the cable up and down! And yet, you just pushing the things away? What is this? I know its customer fault to open the package and never get the things right before buying, but that does not mean you can talk loud at me as if I owe you. Hello, customer is right and if at wrong, explain nicely!

I will make a search tomorrow at Sim Lim Square, and should there be such cable, I will just get it and NOT going back to Mac shop.

I cannot stand your rudness thus I hang on the phone and not willingly to put it down! You finally gave in by saying, "If you really want to change, our side also do not have the cable and I had made order 2 weeks ago". Waiting is not a problem and I am willing to show you IF this package is acceptable or not. Stop pushing me off! And fainlly he said he need to check the package first. What took you so long to get this idea at the first place? It does not cost you much to spend 5min checking and say cannot to me. If you are nice, I will be too.

This shop is at Pacific City Asia, IMM. In charge, John. I am disappointed big time!

Next, back to my HDMI problem solving. CSO answered the call after I waited for 20min, and the solution is just to press # key on the controller. That's how you change the resolution. Yah, I pressed all except that. I am so... DuhZ! At least my HDMI cable is working afterall.

Not fanciful and busy Saturday

My department had lunch together at Mad Jack along Jalan Kayu area. Lunch is free since this is partly from audio fund which is given by management. Boss and J drove to the area with everyone in their car. Nope, I am not driving at all.

I got to be frank about this lunch food. Atmosphere is fine but the whole restaurant only have us. Maybe due to lunch crowd is lesser then night time. I am lucky that I chosen chicken chop then fish fillet. Chicken chop with black pepper sauce is ok until I ate to the last piece of meat, which I personally find it way too bland. The soup is rather not tasty... maybe I am used to Pastamania soup. K and WT find it ok which suit their taste.

French fries were quite bland as well which I had no idea why because I mayself do not take salty french fries, but I really find it way too tasteless. No doubt the signboard mentioned no msg and whatsoever were put in, but... sorry is the word I really can put it in

WT and M gave me their fish to eat and till now, I am SO afraid! The flour they did is way too thick, the fish meat is quite bland and slimmy. I find it very hard to swallow and I got to put so much of tar tar sauce to improve the taste. While WT kept cursing me for putting so much of tar tar sauce and I asked her if she want it as well, she nod her head so happily. WTF? LOL

Anyway, some of us do not find the fish so nice and seriously this is one place I will not visit it. Thanks for introducing us, but I guessed that everyone taste bud is very different. We felt so sleepy after the food and I almost wanted to K.O. until WT tapped me SO hard on my shoulder. my luck been tapped away... After the rest had finished their dessert, we moved off so quickly, hoping to reach office to wash face! Ok, I had to glup myself down with Xiang Pian, Chinese Tea.

I had oily food on Thursay night and my dinner start at 10pm when I got home with wife after fetching her. I had Char Kway Teow. For today morning after bringing my wife to gynae, I had fried noodle. And earlier on, I had KFC! OMG! I better start cutting down those food! I need to jog tomorrow! Seriously speaking, my clothes are getting small! I meant I am getting fatter, thats why the reason my clothes were tight. As I looked at my tummy now, OMG! This SAF singlet were never been so tight before! F**K!

Yah.. I better do more exercise! But due to my cold, I cannot force myself to sprint. Better be safe.

For car inspection, $62 were spent at Vicom which took only 15min. As I wanted to pay for road tax today, my dad and me went in the paying room, both of us were so blur that where can we get the number ticket! Bloody hell, the notice of taking Q is so small and it look like some sort of fire alarm to me! Somemore the flashing light is in red. WTH. Anyway, road tax cannot be renew because of my insurance does not tally at all and the different is just 1 month apart.

So, along with my wife, we went to Income at Jurong East Central to get the insurance done. We waited for 1hr exactly, and luckily my dad went to put coupon on my car where I park it at our old blk, which is just 10min walk away. He also had his lunch too. It is just 1 number away when he got back! LOL

The payment is $156 since we just need to extend the insurance from Apr to May, just 1 month which is tally to my road tax as well. I opt for every 6 month payment in case we wanted to change the car or so. Wifey asked me why not just renew the policy to a year then going through all these for extending. As I replied to her, we might upgrade cars and having both tally make things easier, plus paying for renewal cost us a bomb now. Let's talk about it next Mar since we need to renew from May to Nov.

I had my name removed from my dad's bike insurance, which drop from $456 to $256! With 20% NCD off, my dad will get the rebate soon. :)

What a day to spend. I am god damn tired as I barely sleep long enough these few days.
