I should say.. our local CyberPioneerTV really did a good work for producing such a show for others who are interested in SAF and recruit to be.
Apparently, I know this is a hard work within the production teams but I felt that it can be even better.
Truthfully, I find the entire video is a little let down. Why do I say so?
When you watch a movie, what is the most important thing that urge you more? Visual and sound.
Shall not talk about the visual because of the limitation of what they can do, but the sound.
If there's more VO introduction, musked away instructor, I think the whole segment will be even better. Let's not forget about the music underneath it.
These are the things that is lacking of it. Audio play a big part in a show if you wanted to create more awareness.
I'm sorry, but I really feel like voicing out tho.
Maybe I shall give an example of what I meant.
I am not comparing the military but the entire production made.
But lets all give them a pat on their shoulder for making this video. It is good to show the rest of the world on how we, SAF, trained from boys to man during their BMT months.
Omg, an Apple Alpha DSLR? How cool will there be?
Will this going to be the next generation of DSLR?
Maybe, I say maybe, they will use the iOS for the camera and you are able to sync the apps and play! How cool? Imagine hipsmatic apps on the DSLR?
Ok, joke aside. This is just a rumor whether they will make it works. More info
The Creativity
Well, I actually love to see people with such an interesting creativity doing Photoshop layout.
In this case, presenting you the Real Life Photoshop.
While looking through my RSS feed, I find this topic very interesting. Hence, sharing with you.
The war and debate of both camera should just come to an end. Remember, there are strong supporters to individual camera make.
One might slam and other will defend. What's the whole point after all? Let's just do it right and enjoy snapping away.
Also, you got to tell yourself this. You, as a photographer can make wonders, not the make of the camera. A camera job is to capture the moment you wanted for. What more do you want?
There maybe slight differences between cameras, but does that occur you at all? Unless you are doing large format print, yes, I agreed.
Above is my own opinion, but I suggest to read more by Scott Bourne.
Will that ruin a Wedding?
After all, a wedding is all about happy and romantic. The relationship between the videographer and photographer are almost like them. You got to give and take during the filming and snapping. Working hand in hand is important.
End of the day, both parties shake hand, pass name card to each other and say good bye with a smile on the face. You never know if any party will call up and request for service since both had a pleasant working relationship previously.
If problem arise, let's talk and give way.
Unless you are the kind that will.....
Let's just watch the video after this
Applaud to them! Don't you love the real life faking slow motion?
I bet they must have practised it for a long time. I simply love the choreographic at the end of the show. You should check it out. It is marvelous and I give them two thumbs up!
Loving it?
If you are good at it, do you still need a good Phantom video cam?
That's just a side joke by Petapixel.
When you talk about stop motion, what is it that you are referring at? A human, an object or what? How about a miniature icon instead? Read.. World Smallest!
Apparently, this group of people actually made a tiny figurine like the lead of the pencil for this commercial!
Spare those funky duper cameras, for now, let's stick to hand phone camera! Yes, you got it! N8 by Nokia was used for this motion stop shoot!
Applauded for their hard work. Got it? Creativity counts... =)
Enjoy the film as shown below.
Not enough? Wanted the behind the scene? There you go!
Bokeh is beautiful when you had the object focused in front and had it blurred out at the back. That's how people like to look at it.
How about having bokeh as the main subject instead? Interesting? How does it make it interesting when there's nothing to see because bokeh is blurred out?
Maybe David Cooke will show you, not in photography, but video.
I was the fans of Eminem way before when he start slim shade shady tune. But I wasn't towards Rihanna - Umbrella. Look like this great music sung by Rihanna proved me wrong.
Lovely music on the great windy Sunday... I will say... Chill.. and cheerios.
Now.. I am going to replay it.
oh yeah.. do you love the simple way they shot on Eminem in the middle of the field?
It seem like there are quite a lot of people into time lapse nowadays. Be it video recording or long exposure, it just fit the bills.
I am amazed by the recent time lapse video I watched. Inspiration? Yes, indeed. Time? I dare not confirm.
Right now, there are a lot of things that I would like to do, but apparently, it is the time commitment I have to sacrifice if this is a must-do stuff.
Here, I present you Tom Guilmette with the beautiful new Kessler Shuttle Pod!
Ok, if you do not have the money to buy it like me, maybe, we can do it at the low budget way.
Having the PVC to act as the dolly! Of course, it will be.... manual pulling situation!
When I started DJ using Technic 1210MK II turntable, I have already knew about the speed as shown in the video below. On Technic turns, there are dots for you to see on the platter. Having the light pop up, adjust the pitch, you will notice different level of dots will stay at the near constant speed.
But, I never knew that this guy really go all out to do something like this. How hilarious and creative, huh!
Applaud, people... applaud..
On phone, we can have a lot of interesting on it. Say, wifi, 3G for internet connections, photo taking, video recording, keying appointment, gaming, GPS and many others.
How about a camera? Camera is not just a photo taking tools anymore when HD arrive. Now, most of the camera can at least record HD 720p format. Having a great HD quality does not end here at all. Now, marvelous Nikon evolve with interesting technology: projector on camera with touch screen just like your phone.
Watch the interesting video especially the 2nd one.
Well, it is a good family-point and shoot with multiple function camera! Don't you think so?
Wow, I do love the whole setup from Window 7 Mobile. But the most important question, will they have Whatsapps?
Man, I wish I can have a change of phone, but currently I am stuck with the BIS plan for 2 years, hence no changes of phone. I do wish to own an Android phone tho. iPhone4 does not come to my mind at all, which I have no idea why.
Recently, I am quite tired because of Cait is literally an energizer bunny. Ok, I do admit that I did play 1 mission a day for my StarCraft II. For those who do not know, yes, I bought the SC II @ $99 last month. Though it is quite expensive, but I am very happy to own it. Of course, I will schedule my time properly tho.
Right now, I am on the midst of preparing and brain storming a conceptual shoot theme which will be related to music, not those Musical stuff. I am going to reveal all my ideas in the blog because there is nothing to hide at all. Please do give me huge support!
Two thumbs up for the design and technique. This gotta be one of the easiest and smartest focus puller ever. Have it at your tip of your thumb, you can focus easier and faster on any camera mount.
The video surely explain it all. Note that, this focus puller is suitable for all kinda lens... don't believe? Check out the big lens in the video.
Now, anyone would like to sponsor me that? I can use it my for MV! Songs that I composed years ago.
Given that even theprofessionalsareswappingin DSLRs for those bulky, pricey camcorders, it's about time Intuitfocus solved a century-old problem: touching the focus ring to focus. In an effort to eliminate thefocus pullerfrom your payroll while also placing more control of a shot in the hands of a single filmmaker, the HF-IF1 handsfree, electro-mechanical follow-focus system enablesDSLRfocus to be altered by simply thumbing through a wheel. The rig can be used to dictate focus, zoom or aperture on all DSLRs with lenses from 14mm to 600mm, though the company does mention that not every single lens will play nice. As you'd expect, this essentially eliminates shake introduced by having to touch the focus ring, and it ships with a foursome of various rubber belt sizes for various lens diameters. It's scheduled to ship next month at an undisclosed amount, and we're desperately hoping that the company choosesDancing Pigeonsto showcase its magic. A boy can dream, right? Promo clip follows the break, should you find yourself interested.
You just have to make use of what you have than kept on buying. Most importantly, sit down and master the Photoshop skill as it helps you to save even more.
Here's something you should watch and learn. I love the way how he started in this BTS from the beginning of the shoot till the end. A great tutorial indeed.
